I am about to teach a class this morning, (gulp) so for the last few days I have been brushing up on my technique. I have to say I am really enjoying it, as I haven't done any for ages. I got a bit bored with it as I was not very good at changing the texture. but as my stash has grown over the last year, I can now tyr all sorts.
I will post some pics when I have taken them, but they are only examples of what can be done. They are not the finished articles..............yet! _________________ Amy

Good luck hun. This is something I would love to try. I bought some fine crochet hooks and thread last year to give this technique a try. I put them somewhere safe 'ahem' can't remember where though |

Have fun!
I am keen to try it but the thought of threading all those beads, and in a sequence as well, is really putting me off!
It would be very good for travelling though - no loose beads! _________________ Caroline. |

Good luck with the workshop Amy. I'm sure it will go well for you, and I'll look forward to seeing the pics.

Sounds fun Good luck!
I haven't tried "normal" bead crochet, like those ropes or flat crochet, but I did manage to make a Only registered users can see links on this forum! That's the part that puts me off, especially if I'm using different beads to make a pattern. Wish someone else would string them for me... The crochet part I enjoy, the stringing part not so much... _________________ Kristina

Well, it was interesting - Don't think I will be doing that again!!!!! When you ask people to bring a ball of wool and a pack of beads no smaller than a size 6, why do they think crochet cotton and size 11's will do????
Anyway here are a couple of my previous pieces that I have done, so you get the idea.
and my first ever piece
Sorry about the pics, they were done on a scanner. Now I have a DH with a little light tent! _________________ Amy
