Have had a truly awful cold this week (I blame that London - full of germs!) and have found looking at the computer screen quite painful... but thankfully have still been able to bead!
Sat in bed and had a go at knotting. Thanks to Maura for the link to the Youtube tutorial. A great help. These aren't perfect, by a long chalk, but I enjoyed doing them and I love the drape you get with knotting.

This one I've called the Splish, Splash, Splosh Set - firstly because our Julie called them 'Splosh Set' and secondly because they remind me of beaches, rockpools and paddling. So, large beads from Lushlampwork and the yellow is Lemon Jade. At least that's what it said it was in the shop! (See Nia's post in help).

And lastly a simple set made with wooden beads, but it really makes me smile when I look at it. I think it will look fab in the winter with a plain black jumper.

Hey Lesley! Everything is beautiful. How can you do such wonderful work when you are feeling crappy? (Sorry that you are feeling like that BTW).
Your photos are also awesome. Quite enjoyed looking. Thumbs up

Hi Lesley,
you're welcome for the link. I found that one just made everything click into place - it was so easy to follow. Watch out though, it can become addictive!

I love that first set - Lilac lustre - that is just fab Heart

Hope you feel better soon,

Oooh they are a bit good! The pearl sets look lovely with the knotting, I MUST get to grips with it. Tell you what, send me your cold and maybe that'll do the trick! Errrr, maybe not.......
And that Photoshoppy layering thingy looks fab too, especially with the wood set, so colourful!

Thanks, everyone. I do feel a bit better today - although the cough was really irritating in the night.

Thanks for your lovely comments on the jewellery and the photos.

Whizzz, the wooden beads were from The Bead Shop in Covent Garden - I can't find them on their website though... But have found them here:
