Hi I am new to this site and have been making my own jewellery for about 2 years now. I am always looking for new techniques and styles to make.At the moment I am trying to learn Chain Maille. Started by buying a kit for beginers from a very good site. I was pleased and surpised on how easy it was to do. I have a few weave tutorials(mainly from the net) and have made a few simple designs. Chain Maille is addictive. The end results are just amazing.Just linking a few ( or rather a lot) of jump rings together to create something which looks so complicated is to me totally fasinating. Are there any other crafters out there who make chain maille? would love to swap tips and ideas with them. |
