Ok clothes wise
Skirt suits, ruffle shirts, miliary coats/jackets, big shoulders and big knitwear, metallica, red and black, tartans

accessories seems to be big blingy gold stuff!chunky wooden beads, heaped on chains and bangles, massive charms on bracelets or necklace chains, well big and bold and rather '80's really!!

anyone else seen any interesting trends?
(not that we are slaves to them, just daft not to make say red , if all the clothes out there are red!) Daisy

The one thing that I've noticed is that jewellery is making a come back big time. For the last few years there was very little (or none at all) jewellery on the catwalk. Now big bold pieces are featured on the covers of the glossies. The latest issue of Vogue has an article on costume jewellery (remember the discussion we had about it?)

Glad to hear BIG is in this year. I like chunky jewellery and all my lampie beadies seem to end up that way. Even my pressess are large and upwards.

I really feel gold is due to make a comeback. Silver or silver colour has been in for a very long time, I can't help but feel that gold is going to be big soon!

Thank you for the references to Vogue this month. I never usually buy it because everything is out of my price range and I don't really enjoy it...so I have Marie Claire on subscription which is a great read. I bought my copy of Vogue this evening and I am looking forward to a dreamy read with a cup of tea and some chocolate biscuits! Very Happy
