I've just finished a new set using dark silver glass pearls, some puffy facetted rondels, and sterling silver teeny beads. Its to go with a maroony-hard-to-match-up top with a bead neckline and cuffs, so I didn't want anything too flashy.
I'm please with it - what do you think?

That is really elegant. It would work with so many things too wouldn't it.
One of those peices that you could wear with Jeans and a shirt, but also with more dressy outfits for an evening out. I really like it when jewellery does that and is "multi-tasking"

Thanks Emma, that was what I was aiming for.
The picture doesn't pick up the sparkle of the facetted rondels, but they do sparkle a treat

Thats very smart Melanie, definitely elegant. And you are so right about maroon, its a b***er to try to match up, so a set like this one is going to be just right. Bet you'll wear it loads, I would!

Thats lovely Melanie, I do like that. Not fussy or to in your face, but pretty and eyecatching. I would wear that!
Most of my stuff is to flashy, and i wouldnt wear half the sparkly stuff i make, but i just love it if im off out somewhere nice, (not that i go out that much these days lol)
I think it will get lots of nice comments, well done (note to self, use tiny spacer balls with creations)

My stuff is too sparkly too (why I ask myself? )
Your set is very elegant Melanie. I can see how much the rondelles sparkle because I use them myself. Lovely colours as well. _________________ ...the spirit of an elf and the lifestyle of a hobbit

Hi everyone, back from Hull, and catchng up with the forum.
Thank you all for your lovely comments. I have a feeling this set is going to get quite an airing as an easy way to dress up an outfit without going ott
