DH is paying for me to do a Lampwork one day beginner course for my birthday, so have just booked it for 21st March at Fire Work in Bristol.

So we can kill two birds with one stone, pay a long over due visit to friends in Bristol and I get to the course as well.

Can not wait.

Jenny

I am taking the plunge and doing one as well so good luck , and enjoy.
I am trying to get hubby to build me a shed, but its no go. Hes says the garage is fine, but it leaks and get wet , so my idea and I think its a great one , wait for it.!!!

Is to build a shed in the garage , that way i'm in the garage for him, shed for me. Its warterproof and I can lock it away no prob when the husband uses his garage.

I can paint it blue and call myself THE DOCTOR !!!

He thinks i am being stupid and have lost the plot,

I currently have a small brick built shed at the front of the house, but it is only 4ft by 7ft in size

I am waiting to get electricity to it at present, then I will get it origanised.

Also my course has been borough forward by one day so it will be on Saturday 20th March not the 21st, counting the days

Well I have already gone down the slippery slope of Metal Clay so have a kiln but not sure if it will do for beads as its a Prometheus, then find the slippery slope of Polymer clay. so why not the slippery slope of lampwork Laughing

mutter mutter.

Was all set for my introduction day course in Lampwork on the 20th March when DH part time college course information turns up and yes he has to be at college on the 19th and 20th March, so now no weekend in Bristol and no lampwork course.

Have managed to change the date of my course to May 22nd but that now means that I have to wait another 2 months. Sad

My head is telling me that it is the right thing to do as when DH gets his degree he will be more likely to get a better job. But this coming on top of his hearing that the company he is working for at present are going to cut short his contract and he now finishes at the end of the month instead of October. March has not been a happy month so far.

Crying

Jenny

Aw that's not fair.
Right, I have been giving deep thought to the plus sides in this...

1.) DH owes you hugely for the next two months.
2.) Looking forward to things is half the fun of doing them.
3) When he is earning more money - you will be able to remind him of your sacrifice and direct the extra accordingly.

Hug
