With the party season in full swing and lots of celebrations and get togethers going on the theme of this challenge is "Clearly worth Celebrating".

I was inspired by the idea that as well as enjoying lots of celebrations, parties and get together we should also celebrate all of our beading talents!

Dancing banana Wine cheers Dancing elephant Wine cheers Happy dance!

So inspired by all those party outfits your challenge is to create a beautiful piece of jewellery which may be made in any materials but must only be in clear beads/components.

You may use metals, and white as accent colours but 90% of the piece must be clear. Finishes such as crystal AB or matte/etched are allowed and are a great way to add texture and depth to your creation as are patterns (as well as focusing on the shapes you use/create).

To enter all you need to do is post up a picture of your creation in this thread, and tell us of a little bit about your creation.

You can enter any bead, beaded or jewellery item. Don't forget that also covers/includes wire work, metal work, polymer clay, lampwork, etc!

All you need to remember is that you can only enter one piece (or set) per challenge).

The closing date is the last day of January.

Good luck, we look forward to seeing your entries.

Daisy

Hi, I'd like to enter this asymmetric necklace. It's made of frosted and clear beads, leaves and flowers worked on a base of clear Peyote Stitch seed beads. Swarovski crystals and silver lined clear seed bead dangles.

'Frosted Flowers' necklace

Edit: There should be flatback Swarovski crystals in the centre of the large flowers, but I am still waiting for the right glue to be delivered... Embarassed Carmie.

I just made these last night with some pretty lampwork beads from serendipity beads (Marie), and accompanied with clear quartz beads, sterling silver and tiny matt white seed beads. I also made matching earrings and a memory wire bracelet.

I had fun making these as I don't use clear colours much!

made these about a week ago. Never entered one of these before, but hey why not lol.... Hope im doing this right

The glass beads I stolle from some ribbon I bought a couple of years ago to use on a bookatrix card that I made, they where what were left over, I still have some more of these, and I think I may have to buy some more of this ribbon, there were other ribbons like it, with other beads on and they were very cheep when you think about it.
