Naming my work is never my strong point, but I really need help this time! A friend said that the pattern on these cufflinks (silver art clay) looks like bird's feet, and now I've got that in my head I can't think of any other name for them - I'm hoping that one of you might come up with something more appropriate!

They're really striking.
They look like bacteria to me but I'd have to look up a name for them. Wot's it they say on the Dannone advert?

Oh, I like trefoil, or maybe just fern. Thanks both of you! _________________

Those are really nice and I like the shape a lot. Interesting pattern too, was it random or did it come from a texture plate you made?
As to name, the suggestions so far seem good and it does look like the fern pattern. I just think they're fab anyway and I like the heavy bar you've attached, it shouts quality. |

Thanks Kallyloo! I used a texture plate. I like making cufflinks, and definitely like the fact that the 'for him' section of my website now has something in it! _________________

Been having a think, I'm not that good at names, why are they so hard?
Anyway if you want more alternatives to the great suggestions so far, Clovis (a French King), Dunlin (bird), Straton (Greek means army I think). |

Oooh I needed a giggle after the day I've had - nothing like adult conversation after trying to persaude my little boy that he does want to go to sleep!
Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. I knew I could count on you! I've put them on the webiste as 'fern' so far, but I think they might be changed to Dunlin - great name that. _________________

I like the 'Chromas' suggestion too, it does sound masculine.
But I'm just new!!!
They are really great cufflinks. I've done a couple of classes in Edinburgh with art clay, which were excellent, but it's fiddly stuff. |
