Ok so I knew these would be rubbish before I started. But I was just having fun, and using up some oven dry clay i was given a whilse back. I had fun, and although dont like the finished look of most of them, Mostly down to the horrid colours. but the colours in the kit were horrid. VERY dark, or very bright.
But i can see with the right clay, and better colours, I could get into this.
Please take into consideration that I have never done this before, I had limited colours, no tools. Onmy yhands and skewers lol... Got to think of more exscuses for them being so bad lol....
Thanks for looking....
PS.... What can I use to glaze them... Ive tried sanding(wet) and buffing but they go white. I think thats cause there cheep kids clay. and not propper clay, What could I use to glaze them, or should I keep them as they are?

Wow I can't believe this is your first attemp, they're great, you should be very proud, as for glazing, I use Johnsons klear floor polish, its nice because the affect can be as subtle or shiny as you like depending on how many coats you apply and you don't have to wait for ages inbetween coats as it dries very quickly

Thanks for the tip on the Johnsons Klear. I got some yesterday, and well I cant say how impressed I am witht he results. It has really brought the beads to life, I now love the beads, some are still not as good as the others as are dark, but I like them that much I have now spent a fortune on a fair bit of polimer clay, so that I can play even more. My last treat for now as my money situation has become rather bleack, as my husbands job is very much at risk, he may even be out of work in 2 weeks time. So we need to save as much as we can at the moment, just incase.
Anyway I will continue haveing fun with jewellery and dead making, mayeven master them better lol. But I am proud of myself, especialy now i have managed to polish them up and get them glossy. even found polishing them very theraputic, watching them coming more and more alive.

Well I have just spent the last 4 hours making some jewellery out of some these beads.
I will take a picture in the morning (its close to 2am here now) will hope for good light to take the pictures in also. And will add them on this board as soon as I can. Im really pleased with a couple of sets, I really not keen on and another i like but not sure at same time, I think i chose the wrong colour combo for it
