First play last night and really enjoyed myself.
Today I dragged my husband around the carboot, and picked up LOADS and LOADS of beads and findings (from old jewellery). spent £8 intotal, and got a full carrier bag FULL of old jewelery of which 95% has been hacked to be reused. also got a jewellery box thrown in to. Which ive hacked to use as a storage box hehehe....

1 evening of playing and im already hunting round for more lol.

I can see this taking over my papercrafts lol

It certainly will. Although wire and beads on cards and scrapbook pages look nice.

I loved sewing for years and was buying fabric by the cartload, then my daughters both decided to get married within 6 months of each other. I made the wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses etc. and then was stuck trying to find tiaras. I thought I would try and make them...............the rest is history, lol. Now I have beads by the cartload to go with the fabric and need a mansion to put it all in Laughing

Well ive not had a go at so many crafts as some of you, But my loft is over flowing with all things paper craft.
I have a huge dresser in the kitchen tightly packed full of paints and accesories, the understairs cubard is filled with canvases. and now the sideboard in the livingroom is filling up nicely with beading/jewellery things.

2 weeks ago I started with a simple but ample starter kit, and ive since spent around £300 of other bits (but shush.... husband thinks ive only spent around £50 lol. arnt men gullable lol.

Have to stop spending now tho, as just found out he is to be laid off ofter next week. So need to make money to buy more now...

I am going to go through my loft tho as I know I have LOADS of bits up there that I know ill never use, so I can sell them on to make money for more jewellery bits hehehe

And after only making my first bit of jewellery ive had some interest in people wanting some making for them, so already customers yayyyyyyy. Although my orriginal plan was to make for pleasure, nothing wrong with making a little bit along the way also hay
