I was so upset when I found out that I missed the bead fair in the north east at Newcastle Racecourse. I thought they never had any up here so I kind of stopped looking out for them.

Anyway, I've decided I'm going to hold one in my house The stalls will be placed as follows:

- 2 on the kitchen worktop (you have to make the tea and the coffee and provide biscuits if you take one of these - afterall I'll be too busy and my H will have been banned from the house cos he already thinks I spend too much already)
- 1 on the patio set which is unfortunately living in the kitchen at the moment due to all the rain
- 1 on the bed settee in the spare room (it's surprisingly sturdy you know)
- 1 on the coffee table in living room
- 2 small spaces on the dining room table (also in the living room)

The fair will be based on a two in two out system (you know like they have in little newsagents with school children) and me and my piggy bank must get first looksies!

So, who's in?

Well, I'm extremely upset by the lack of response to my offer, I thought everyone would be fighting to get a place in my magnificient bead fair. Guess I'll have to just stroke the beadies I've got and continue ordering off the internet.

you know maybe we should actually do little local "open bead house" days and invite local crafters! I know a few beaders in merseyside- it would be fun!!

I will just sit out in the garden then if Denise has bagged the bathroom windowsill but Julie has to promise to pass me lots of glasses of wine out thru the kitchen windiow

That sounds like a blimin good bead fair to me :-) Not too far from Newcastle but would have to get the train/bus from Middlesbrough. Could I have the warm spot near the radiator please :-)
