Ike buttons on a shirt for ladies or gents is there a specific side the clasp should go on a necklace fastening?

I suppose if you think about it logically, most people will want the clasp (if its a boltring) to be in their active hand - so right for right-handers and left for left-handers Rainbow

I remember having this exact conversation on another forum... LOL basically the answer was exactly thew same! It doesn't really matter, but based on most of us being righties it seems easier to put it that side (if yo remember to) LOL ROFL

I remember the same conversation. I'm left-handed so I make a point of putting my lobster clasps on the right for a right handed person (for necklaces that have a "front" side). Then I was told by someone that the lobster was not the problem but the ring! So now I worry less. The most important thing is to have a clasp that people find easy to use, then right or left does not matter.

Soooo funny my aunt and I were just discussing this, cause like others I have just put it on any which way, but supposedly yes should go on right side.

Ummm, think I have done some wrong. Crying
