Hi all, I have just discovered this forum and it looks like a great site. I am actually from Sweden but will be heading over to England this Christmas. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good bead shops or somewhere I could stock up my supplies from while I was over. I will be based in the Ipswich area but will have access to a car so some travel is possible.

When I went to Ipswich (a few years ago) There was a sort of craft shop that sold some beads! Unfortunately, I can't remember what it's called, or if it's still there! There is a bead shop in Colchester, which isn't that far from Ipswich! It's called Pandorion, 29 east hill, colchester, Ph 01206868623.

Or, if you can get to london i know there are at least 3 bead shops in the covent garden/carnaby street area????!!!?? hope this helps!

If you're going to Colchester there's another bead shop called Beejewelled in Sible Hedingham (which isn't that far from Colchester) - they have a website as well

If you visit on the first Saturday of the month - there's also Bead Merchant in Coggleshall -

- they are only open on the first Saturday of the month but you can order online - I've not been there yet but am planning to go next weekend.
