Do I need to use a specialist jewellery glue when I'm using calottes? At the moment I'm using UHU Power on my knots and crimps (don't trust em since one of my bracelets fell apart!) before I close the calotte. But I'm not sure if it's strong enough.

I've seen something called Sure Drop but I wanted to check with you guys before I buy something.

What does everyone else use?

i use devcon 5 minute epoxy for gluing bails onto fused glass, it's very strong but a bit messy for what you would need it for

I use GS Hypo Cement too, has a very thin nozzle for accuracy - great for calottes. Super strong too.

To be honest I have used the expoy and find really messy and a lot of work for using on calottes.

I really like the GS Hypo Cement, lasts well, clear and strong.

I use a gel super glue (less messy than normal ''runny'' super glue) on my knots.
