I fancy making some watches - what is the best stringing material to use?

Um, if you are planning to just string beads, you could use Soft flex or soft touch??!?? I am wondering about this too, as I have just purchased one!!

Hi Gillian
Ive made a few watches (one for every outfit almost!). Any brand of tigertail will do the trick, just be careful not to use a too thick diameter otherwise finishing off is a bit messy and you might battle to tuck everthing off neatly - I find 0.018" works just fine. You might also want to try attaching chain to your watch and doing a charm bracelet watch strap - they're a bit of fun!
Have fun!

Hi
I know someone who used Stretch Magic, therefore no fastenings. It looked really good when I saw it.
Watch faces seem to become more and more popular, or maybe, with Christmas coming, a beaded watch makes a very pretty present...
