Pearls

I quite fancied using some pearls in my necklaces, had a look and I am now confused over all the different types, freshwater, swarvoski.....cannot remember how to spell it, czech glass.

any help in deciding which to choose much appreciated.

I prefer freshwater pearls I tend to go for the smoother type, rather than the rough ones. They are about the same price or even cheaper than the swarovski ( you almost had the spelling right) pearls. and I just prefer the fact they are natural. I get most of mine from ebay - though in the UK not china.

I've used both and although i think I prefer freshwater I use czech (from justbeads ) for my really long necklaces as it keeps the cost down.

The freshwater I have got from a couple of different sellers but the most recent from our own Mark Frances - they are by far the biggest I've had really chunky - Thumbs up

i love freashwater pearls, i'd use them everytime now over glass pearls but it's personal choice

i forgot to add get most of mine from bead fairs cause i like to look at them first before i buy them

I've recently started buying FW pearls. I love them. For me the more un-uniform in shape, the better. But I'm contrary like that. ROTFL
